It’s Earth Day – Do you know your Footprint?

Earth Day began 43 years ago. Isn't it about time you understood your footprint?

The first Earth Day led to the creation of the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the passage of the Clean AirClean Water, and Endangered Species Acts.

Earth Day 1970 achieved a rare political alignment, enlisting support from Republicans and Democrats, rich and poor, city slickers and farmers, tycoons and labor leaders.

The Earth Day Network offers a Footprint Calculator that allows you to see for yourself what your impact is on the environment. 

It was eye opening to see how much of a "user" I am. I never even think about air travel, but it's a big part of my life with family living in different countries – let alone different states. With some easy clicks of the mouse and taking my "Earth Day Avitar" for a virtual walk, I learned simple steps that could improve my mark.

So while I take out the recycling, why don't you see what your impact is on the environment.
